Scouting is not just based here in Golcar, Scouting is a world wide family with over 31 Million Scouts throughout the world.
During the year all our sections take part in International activities and events, these don't just have to mean jetting off to another country, you can take part in International activities right here in Golcar.
International Trips
Kandersteg 2010 was a huge adventure for everyone involved, 10 days in Kandersteg, Switzerland taking part in activities from High Ropes, COPE Course, Rowing on Lake Oeschinensee and a Trip to the ice caves at Jungfrau Jock.
We returned to Kandersteg in 2015 for another action packed 10 day adventure in the mountains of Switzerland.
Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI)
Every year Scouts around the world login to Scoutlink for a weekend of fun and conversations. Contacting Scouts across the world from the comforts of Golcar Scout and Community Centre.
